    Duplex Copying Problem

hello guys i have seen a similar problem before but never got to the bottom of it,i went to a client MFP today MX-4501N, when doing duplex[2to2] copying, the paper goes down into the ADU [Duplex unit] and paper jams, checking the jam history i get PPD1_NA, when checking the service manual the jam code says
"PPD1 not-reached JAM (ADU refeed paper),it aapears to me when the paper goes down in the duplex unit,it should reverse the paper to come back up, however thats not happening, anyone seen this problem before?i have seen it before but never could find out the solution, thanks in advance.

hi there, the last roller at the exit has the set of idle wheels (black in colour). these black plastic wheels deforms causing delayed switchback. u can wrap insulation tape on these or better replace these rollers. hope this resolves the problem.

Check the drive gear on the rear of the door.

Also check the spring tension on these idler rollers. If you are having issues with heavy paper out of the bypass as well this could definetely be your problem.

          Good luck.
