Re: Sharp mx-6201n scanning???
Pretty straight forward if you are using Sharpdesk software (should be a CD with version 3.3 in your user guides). If you like to do it from the machines web page you can access the user guide on that page and it will help you through the setup.
Good luck.

Re: Sharp mx-6201n scanning???
I try to avoid Sharpdesk if at all possible.
Get your DNS info and verify as to whether or not they have an exchange server. If there is an exchange server, the copier will need its own address and password to pass objects through the server.
Input all data into network settings of the web page and it's fairly simple at that point.
Scan to folder needs to have the folder shared on the network first and foremost, and then the network path to the folder must be copied and pasted into the copier address book "//computername/directoryA/directoryB" will have similar formatting to that, be sure that anti-virus software doesn't block the copier from accessing.Cthulhu for president! Why settle for the lesser evil?Comment
