mx-m623 or 753. As per finisher it would depend on what you need- there is a couple for these models.

We put in two MXM753's last year into a large High School, we have had very little problems with them other than use induced jams or damage to fuser from the wrong transparencies. They seem to be pretty solid. One thing you need to do is plug the machines in for at least 24 hours prior to assuming they are good. We did get one of these machines in and it tested fine in shop and then a week later when we installed the HV power board was Dead. This according to sharp was a rare occurance with all machines where a board broke from the current running through a bad connection on that board. They said that one was we can make sure that it is good before you take any large copier is to plug it in for at least 24 prior. Doesn't stop the deadness but at least you don't tell the customer it is ready and then bam it is dead. This is not a slam on this machine, the ones in the school have done really well. Just seems to be a problem with circuitry when the machine get shipped way up north here.Hope that helps, I would say go ahead and sell them these machines! they are next generation, ARm550's which we have many out there pushing well beyond their lease. Solid Machines!

I think i would perfer the hercules machines we have at least 7 that are at 100k plus per month. All the supplies go past the recomened yields. Must replace feed rollers every pm. Most have the smaller finishers.

                MXM850/950/1100...

If you're holding out for a Hercules unit, might as well wait it out and grab a Hercules 2 when they become available.

Agreed, but he may find "close out" deals from Sharp to clear out their inventory.

Not sure if they're available in my region yet. We were one of the last to get the Aries. My largest is a C-Dragon Venus model 6201N, no Herc's, and probably won't have any. Thanks for the model numbers though.

i would suggest the hercules series also. very reliable and easy to maintain, and can handle the 100k+ a month. personaly dont think the 623 ect would be a good idea for that high a volume. thats just my opinion and experience . i service several of both series.

The other thing to consider is how long will the customer want to keep the machine. I think the hercules will last longer in that respect. We have had some issues with the fuserlasting in the Mx623 machines.
