[Misc] mx-m363n front keyboard not working

We are a small shop and have just recieved our first mx-m363n used. The front slide out keyboard does not appear to be working.
The three green leds flash when a key is pressed, the cables alk seem to be connected.
The soft keyboard works fine, system settings and service mode did not seem to have anything to toggle keyboard operation.
Anything come to mind??
