CE-00 Error on 4101N

I'm getting a CE-00 code when setting up scan to file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That code normally means that the copier cannot find the network or networked computer. Make sure you are physically connected, try powering down after entering IP address on copier. If you have already tried that, try scanning to a folder at the root of C: and maybe try using the IP address instead of the server name.

A while ago, I had a similar issue with a Windows 7 64 bit PC. I had to share the folder and unblock the copier IP from the firewall.

Hopefully, this helps or gives you ideas.

Type the folder path into the Run box in windows. If you cannot find it from the PC, the copier can not find it. Check the sharing permissions of the folder.
