MXM700 paper feed regulation plate.

    MXM700 paper feed regulation plate.

    I have a possibly stupid question. I have an MXM700 with a broken rear feed regulation plate in the #1 cassette. From what I can see in the parts book on figure 23 I need item # 12 or 13 or 14 but I don't know how to tell which I need. I'm guessing I need 13 since the rear one is what I need but I'm not sure how they have them coded.
    I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

      Tray 1 would take item #12 as the rear plate/ tray 2 would be item #1.

          Thanks. Ok I'll go with that, but out of curiosity, what are 13 and 14 for?

              They are guides for the trailing edge of the paper of tray #2.

                  Ok, DUH, now I see them. Now it makes more sense. Thanks for helping the temporarily feeble minded.
