    mx-m1100 jamming

    Hi guys,
I ve only one of these machines out but thus far it has been good (apart from a few finisher issues). I am gettting jams from tray 1 intermittently and the code logged is C1PPD1_s and c1PPD1_n, i have looked at the tandem drive unit to see if any gears are sheared (there is a mod on this) and they look ok, feed tyres have been replaced.

Also i have swapped the feed clutches around from tray 1 to tray 2 and ran 500 copies without a jam, hopefully it maybe the clutch. If the jamming re-occurs does anyone have any ideas where to look?

Don't know if this will help or not. Have replaced this pin on one of our 850's and left the other original and haven't seen a difference but they only have 2 million copies so far. Haven't had your problem and this is all that I could find on Sharpnet.

      Good luck.

Thanks for that, i did look at all pins,i could not find a sheard pin , but maybe it has drifted to one side, although that particular bulletin relates to all trays jamming and not just one tray. (tray 1 in my case)

Have you checked out the separation roller torque limiter? How many copies out of that tray? Had an issue with one of these but don't remember the jam code I was getting.
