    [Misc] FTP Scanning

Since the introduction of MFPs, ftp scanning has been available in most models. Not to many people utilize this protocol but it is still required every now and then. Scanning to an ftp server is pretty straight forward but my question today is, does anyone know if you can scan directly to an ftp site. For example, ftp://{company}.com or direct IP address. My customer wants his other offices to scan directly to the company ftp site. I can use a browser and log into the ftp site. So I know I have the correct authentication information. I am having some difficulty getting this done form the MFP. Has anyone had any luck with this? Below is a screen shot of what I have.

    Re: FTP Scanning

I believe SSL may have to be enabled for FTP scanning.

Machine won't likely recognize your :2121
Found nothing in the manuals to indicate that you could change it from the default.
