    [Misc] MXB402SC

Customer scans large documents using Job Build, all is well until the phone rings......

When they return to machine data has been cleared.

In "system settings" I have selected "cancel timer", yet data is still cleared ..........is there any way to completely disable the reset timer??????

    TIA

If you look at page 5-82 in the e-manual guide you will see that if there is no action taken within 1 minute of the screen prompt showing it says the scan will be reserved but it doesn't say how to retrieve the scan. Maybe in the quick file folder. Also if your quick file folder becomes full the scan will be cancelled, no mention of being able to change the reset time. Don't know if this helps as I only have one of these units and haven't come across this yet.

    Good luck.

We have a few of these out, haven't had any issue for this. You may want to try adjusting the auto clear timer to a longer setting. I believe they are at 90 sec out of the box. Good luck

A work around would be to open the front door if they have to leave the machine for any length of time.
