Sharp arm280n, wouldnt power off now wont power on

turned switch off wouldnt power down. Unplugged and then it powered on and off like normal. that was weeks ago, now it will not power up.
switch seems to test correctly, i have lights on main board and a fan noise near the pcu. but no panel no other signs of power.
any help is greatly appreciated Thanks

This series had a big issue with the scanner connector (the one from the scanner to the MFP and the one from the lid to the scan PWB). There are a couple of tech bulletins on this but I can't seem to find them at the moment. I would look at the connector on the back of the print unit also, sometimes they work themselves loose and you will lose your display and get similar problems.

Check the connecting cables 1st, as Bil said it's a known issue. Also just found a note in my book about Capacitors on the MFP causing this problem, unfortunately being an idiot I did'nt write down exactly which capacitors.
