Service manual shows that it supports USB 1.1 and 2.0 with Sharpdesk/Button Manager.

    Good luck.

      Thanks Bil,

I looked in button manager but only offers bmp tiff jpeg. I tried button manager aa that works with the mxm160 but it seems to recognise it isnt an MX Im using but an ARM

That's odd, the service manual doesn't say what file protocols it supports. I know the ARM162/207 series supports PDF scans but I can't remember setting up any ARM160's for scan. Have you tried setting up the Twain driver to see if it supports PDFs?

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Nope. To scan directly to PDF You need the AR-NB2N. You would have to convert it to .PDF after scanning it.
