Probably just as easy to load SharpDesk and set it up from there..

The difference between sharpdesk and Scan to E mail is…
Sharpdesk opens Outlook (mail program) and attaches the PDF or tiff to an e mail,
Scan to E Mail send's the image from the machine...
Setting up scan to e mail is easy if you have the correct information... it can be found on the Web Page of the machine!! Not In Sharp Desk...
It is almost the same as setting up Outlook account (SMTP Info), with the exception of your DNS numbers need to be correct, and your reply email must be correct (usually set up a No Reply on the server).. Sometimes the Timeout can do some funny things... I prefer Scan to Email... another thing is the initial resolution size and file format. Some servers have a MB limit.

If you need any details doing this, let me know, I can help with this, and if you install sharpdesk, remmeber to allow all exceptions in the firewall, sharpdesk uses an FTP port, allow that port,(not usually 21 - think think it is 56-58?) if there is a router, and they have port forwarding, or blocking, be sure to allow that as well.. If you get a ce-00- ce-02 code from the machine, something is blocking, disconnected etc.. ce-03 is a server time out.. the macine will give these codes.. All these codes can be found in the service manual..
