We've had some machines lately that have made very ugly copies of driver licenses using Card Shot. It appears as though the Card Shot feature is using "mono" as the exposure setting instead of "greyscale". This creates dark, very hard to read card shots. We have other machines that are doing them perfectly.
To see the difference, simply do two Card Shot scans; one with Color Mode set to Mono and the other to Greyscale.
What setting(s) need to be changed to get Card Shot to look more like the greyscale version when using Card Shot in Copy mode? Currently, our customer has to scan in greyscale and then go to the PC and print it.
We've seen this with MXM453s and MXB402s among others.
