MX-3501 to MX-3610 Document filing transfer

I have a customer the has a MX-3501n that has a lot of document saved on the hard drive via Document filing i am hoping that there is a way to transfer all the saved documents from the MX-3501 to the new MX-3610 or at the least back them up in a way i can use them. any help would be very much appreciated.

Copied and pasted from the other thread where you posted the exact same question.

I believe that data can be exported from the 3501 with sim 56-2 using HDD export. Not 100% sure... I do know one of the two methods will import stored document filing data, and I believe it is the sim, I haven't done it in a while, so unfortunately I don't quite remember which one transferred the data. Sorry I can't be more specific, but I'm certain one of the two will transfer your data. Best I could recommend would be to try exporting both and seeing which one will yield the desired results.

The 3610 on the other hand is more clearly labeled and sim 56-3 will import and export the document filing data. Suffice to say we can base an estimation that 56-2 will export document filing data as well from the 3501.

I've been corrected by a fellow tech.

To do a document filing backup, it can be done via the service webpage. (Ip address of machine /service_login.html) as "Filing Data Backup".

Sorry for any confusion I may have caused. It has been a while since I had to do a data backup.
