MX-M550U - want to add network print and scan

We have a great MX-M550U with under 200,000 copies on it in warehouse, but no one wants to buy without print/scan. Is there any way to put in a used card from a broken or off-lease machine?

I know they use an activation code so not sure if this would be possible.

MX-NBX1 is the scan option it requires.

You will have to purchase a print option.

        HAS to be new?

It's an expensive option at $1935 for MX-NBX1 plus $250 for scan. Was just hoping for better $$$ as this is a USED machine.

A used one would do you no good; once a product key is issued, it's married to that machine model, serial number, and application # - it pretty much takes an act of God to assign a key to another machine.
