    MX-3610 Resist Unit

I am writing this post to ensure that the final marble rolling around in my head has not fallen out.
I am looking for the part number for the resist unit on the MX-3610. Also known as the procon sensor array, image density sensor unit, or front and rear registration sensors. Other Sharp manuals list this with its own bookmark. I have scoured the parts manual and cannot find it anywhere. The other issue is removing it from the machine. The service manual refers to the "inmate density sensor" several times but is not listed in the dis-assembly section; how do I get the damn thing out? The other models are one screw, a connector in the back and its in my hands. I have spent, I hate to admit, at least an hour between the two manuals to no avail.

Have I lost my final marble?

As of PG 00ZMX2310P010, I cant find it either. And thats the current one on the IDNC.
What is leading you to need one (curiosity)?

If you have not checked in with the 'warden', you will not be able to find the inmate density sensor; it's problaby in isolation.

I think I found it. Section 67 (Frame Section) Item #3 VHPYAHA19++-1 Qty. 2. It looks to be attached to the toner tray. Or as the manual describes it Top cover.

That is how the manual is written, I guess the translator got swept away in the tsunami.

DavePo, that's it! My marble is still there!
            Thank you very much.
