    New MX5110 f2-39 and f2-58

Setting up an MX5110 and am getting f2-39 and f2-58 process thermistor trouble and temp/humidity sensor trouble respectively. Anyone seen this who might point me in the right direction? The service manual isn't much help yet, but I'm still looking. Thanks in advance.

Also, it will make copies but the code remains on screen.

Also, on this "fine" machine the error message only says "Call for service, Code F2". Is there a way on the copy screen to pull up which F2 it is or do you have to go into Sims to find out?
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

If it is new from box, update the firmware. I seem to remember an earlier firmware addressing the partial code display. The latest is version 7.2.
The humidity sensor is inside the bypass tray. If you have an LCC and the bypass open, I have seen this code. 44-14 will show the humidity sensor reading.
You can go into SIM 7-1, DV check disable, it will reboot and no longer produce F2 codes so you can troubleshoot. The codes will return upon reboot.
I do not know of any other way to get error codes besides simulation mode.

I was never been one for beating around the bush. In my humble opinion, these "fine" machines are nothing but an Ipad with a copier attached.

I reflashed the firmware, but the latest I'm seeing is 7.0. I will look at the other things you mentioned too. Thanks. And your description of these "fine" machines is pretty accurate. I hate not having buttons.

7.2 is a bad way to put it. It still displays 7.0 on the machine, but the second version of 7.0 bumped the PCU or ICU up to 2.0, so my bad.

According to 44-14 it's -40 degrees in my shop. I think it's broke. Oh well that's what Monday is for. Thanks again.

The toner will clump more than usual in that type of environment.....lol

Turned it on this morning and all is well. I guess it fixed itself over the weekend. I like it when they do that.
