MX-2700 not printing on BK

Hello,

We have a machine that is used in a glass room that is not very well heated. This winter has been quite cold here minus 10 degrees. The problem is that no prints on black. My colleague who was there to replace the drum and developer with some going and nothing has changed. What is your opinion?

The manual says that working temp range is 10 to 35 celsius and -20 to 45 celsius for storage. I would let a client know that these are the specs for the machine and if it is out side of this there could be problems.
For not printing black, does it print the colors. I would do a panic stop on a sky shot and see if you have image on the drum or transfer belt. If no image check the flap over the LSU I have seen those stick and cause loose of print. Hope this helps.

It print's on colours. And on sky-shot or self-print stop nothing appears on drum or belt. LSU shutter is open. I was thinking about charging pwb. I won't work on the machine till next week.

I think you're right on track with HVT PWB. Let us know when you get the chance.

Check the black drum when you do a sky shot, stop the machine mid copy to see if drum is coated with toner, if yes check black transfer roller and wire connections at the ends of the roller or just replace the transfer unit.
