[Error Code] C4-00 on Sharp MX-2310

Hello,

We have some trouble with error code C4-00 on a Sharp MX-2310.
We already checked if this could be solved by replacing the PTC, but still having the code after replacing twice the unit.
After this we also checked the switch 8 bit 3, in sim 55-1, but without result. Also the contact from the PTC with the harness is not bad.
Resetting the maintenance count, and also the trouble reset (sim 14) doesn't give any solutions.

There is a modification on the ptc holder of a MX-2600 relating to similar problems, but the engine is very different to this one.
Also no exceptions on the 1st and second transfer unit.

Is this problem known to someone?

From the manual:

PTC trouble (TC high voltage trouble)

PCU
The PTC unit is not installed properly.
/Trouble.
The primary transfer unit is not installed properly./
Trouble.
The secondary transfer unit is not installed properly./
Trouble.
High voltage TC PWB trouble.
PCU PWB trouble.
Connection trouble of the connector and the harness.

Replace the PTC unit.
Replace the primary transfer unit.
Replace the secondary transfer unit.
Check disconnection of the high voltage TC PWB
connector./Replace.
Replace the high voltage TC PWB.
Replace the PCU PWB.

You say there's no problem with primary or secondary transfer, so have you checked the HVT PWB or the PCU PWB?

You say there's no problem with primary or secondary transfer, so have you checked the HVT PWB or the PCU PWB?

The high voltage TC PWB did the trick.....

there is also a bulletin about changing the plastic holder for the pwb to spread them further apart to prevent arcing and electrical noise leading to failure. Its a good idea to replace both anytime you have this issue....

C4-00 can be either faulty PTC, faulty TC PWB, or faulty clutch.
