    MX-M453N SPPD3_N DSPF jam code

Original lead edge jams at the ps roller(in the doc feeder obviously) everytime, even when in test command aging mode. All the sensors change state properly in sensor test mode. Any experience out there with this type of event? Thanks and be safe.

Check the SRRC clutch to see if it is engaging. Have had the clutch fail giving this jam code and paper stops at the same place everytime.

    Good luck.

I have seen on a few where the actuator on SPPD2 I beleave would not return- sticks a little. I have put anouther wrap on the spring and have them work fine after that.

Ok here's a little bit more to go on... in test command 2 sub 3 SPFM won't turn on.

SPFM Transport motor Stepping motor Drives the transport roller.

Something I just ran across on one of the color machines with the same doc feeder, the shock mounts that the drive motors mount to had come apart letting the motor sag. One was torn in half and the other one the rubber was coming loose.
I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.
