    MX-2310U Toner Cartridge Jam

MX-2310U, got an F2-41 error code, when I pulled the cyan toner cartridge out, I noticed the shutter was missing. the same for the black and Magenta. The yellow came out with the shutter still attached but was hard to pull out. I opened the machine, retrieved the shutter that was still on the guides at the back, cleaned everything up, re-attached the shutters to the toner cartridges, and slid them back into place. When trying to remove them a second time, the shutter hung up and made it hard to pull the toner out and ultimately the shutter was left inside again.
The machine is working, but if the customer tries to replace the toner, they will have to call us to retrieve the shutter again.
The toner cartridges are the correct kind, the problem persists even with a new toner cartridge.

    Any thoughts on this?
    Thanks!

Pull the drum and DV units and remove the toner feed pipes. It is only 2 or 3 screws and they pop right out.
They are supposed to be clear, but they will most likely be packed with toner. You can also give them a good cleaning and inspection while out of the machine.

the F2-41 Error Code was resolved, and the machine is working as it should, if the feed tubes were clogged, the error code would persist wouldn't it?

At this point we are leaning toward a bad batch of toner cartridges. We replicated the problem in the shop on a different machine, no error codes on this machine, but toner cartridges are still tough to remove and leaving shutters behind occasionally.

No service or supply bulletins are available for this that we can find.

      Has anyone else experienced this?
