    Sharp MX-2310

    Customer wants te print from USB stick.
    The scan to USB is functioning allright but when trying
    to print from the USB there is no "extern data" option in the document archive mode. (?)
    There's bin created a black and a collar account. Black account is the default.
    Setting this accounts is the reason for disabling the "extern data" or do I need more options

    No much experience on this one

    anyone ? Thanks in advance

      To be able to print from a USB drive they need the postscript kit installed.

          to enable print from usb device,you need to purchase printer expansion kit for jpeg , and postscript kit for pdf .

              Only certain file types (TIFF, JPEG, PRN, TXT, PDF, AND Encrypted PDF) can be printed and as Akitu says a PS option is needed for some file types.

                  For all the U Models Printer Expansion Kit MX-PB14 required for direct printing from USB flash. But,

                  again if you want to print PDF files you need to add MX-PK11

                      I was a little quick to jump the gun on this thread. The posts that followed mine were of greater detail. I don't have a 2310 and forgot it's a U model by default. Cheers to the other guys who filled in the blanks I left!
