Sharp MX-M354N TWAIN driver

I have a customer who has a Sharp MX-M354N. I am trying to get the TWAIN drive to work with Epic which is a hosted EMR system at a hospital. It will not popup the scanner interface in the program and I cannot get help from the people who wrote the software.

When it scans it has a default set somewhere to scan in color from the glass. Since the TWAIN interface does not show up in the program I cannot change the settings. I was wondering if anyone has tried this combination successfully or if not if anyone knows of a way to set the default scan profile in the machine itself. I have hacked the registry on the computer trying to change the default through software but nothing seems to work.

Dear Friend,
First of all this model doesn't support TWAIN scanning through USB Port.This is a Network scanner . You can use TWAIN driver trough PC SCAN mode on network.To enable PC SCAN mode you 'll have to install hard disc option HD-12, I hope this will solve your problem.

If you can access the unit's web interface you may be able to change the default settings. Not sure on this model but it's true with most of the Sharp's.

Do you have any idea where that my be. I dug around in the copier for quite some time. I had another tech do the same to no avail.

The web page? It's the IP address of the copier.

But what exact menu options. I have logged into the webpage and clicked on most pages but cannot find anything that helps.

did you login as a administrator or user?

You're trying to change it so it default scans in b/w?
