    Hi Dingo.

I had a very similar problem with one of my MX2700. The green in particular was becoming an off-yellowish colour, and would have probably turned into the brown tinge you're describing after more time.

In my case, the problem was the memory in all DIMMs, my prints and scans were showing identical symptoms. DIMM slots 1/2 are used by the copier/scanner, and DIMM slots 3/4 are used by the printer. Did not matter what operating system or PC it was printed from or scanned to, the problem was the same. Particularly noticeable on the business cards they were printing.

I suggest you try new memory ROMs and see how it turns out.

As an alternative, if you scan/copy a dark color on that series in AUTO mode, it often comes out as black or dark brown as the color is out of the scanners gamut.

Put the AE mode into Full Color and try again. This will create an output color much closer to the original.
