Thanks guys. I am going to try another fuser. Also will ask customer more details such as does it happen every day in Am. How long after startup before copies are good. Customer's daily routine related to copier.Customer has had machine since 2006 and problem started initially in Dec 2011. Then heard from custome abot 3 times about smears or smudges then call back to say okay and cancelled call. Frank

Have you a copy of the image I had a customer their ar-m276 was smearing the middle two thirds of the page I changed the dev seal and fault disappeared, their problem was in the morning only too.

I had swapped out dv unit with another. I am scheduled to see customer tomorrow and will bring a fuser unit. They just started getting jamming as well. Frank
