Having trouble with registration on a machine when duplexing 65 lb cover. It works fine on 28lb We have tried a p/f unit a ps unit the clutch pak and a different right side door. We have updated the firmware and did the reg adj with 50-28. Our demo machine works great. This machine has about 130k on mostly color. I am not sure what to try next.

May want to check paper
Had call on a 3110 with similar issue turned out the paper they were using was 65lb short grain
Changed paper issue went away -

I thought that might be a problem but we used thier paper on our demo and it worked fine. We put our demo machine in thier location and it is working fine.Comment

There is a setting in system settings called fuser control. Set it to the heavier 23lbs - 28lbs setting.
