    Sharp SF-2218 flashing maint man

    Hi,
i have a Sharp SF-2218 copier, i have changed the drum and toner.
But the maintenance indicator (the one with the technician) is still flashing.
Is there any reset code for that?

    Thanks in advance

The flashing service man is an indicator that the waste toner tank is full. The waste toner tank is the large white bottle located in the drum unit. If you have emptied the waste toner tank you most likly have a bind in the drive system causing the waste toner tank not to rotate properly. Good Luck

My question is.. if you changed the drum.... why did you not empty the wast toner container? All kinds of updates to that piece of garbage back in the day to resolve that issue.
