    moving a Hercules

We need to move a Hercules up 20 steps. Has anyone out there had to do this yet? If so what did you use to do so? Thanks.

Hire Copy Carriers - pretty reasonable.

Forklift or a crane company should fill the bill.

Buy/hire a stair walker/climber, and some extra muscle.

We had to take a Polaris up some theater steps last month. Although we have a stair climber, the landing at this turn of the century theater was not big enough for the machine and the stair climber. I gutted that machine like a fish and it made a HUGE difference.
After removing the ADF, IT belt, DV units, drum units, fuser, all paper drawers, and the right side door, it went up by hand no problem. This was with for guys.
Without a climber, gutting it and good old elbow grease is really your only option.

Yep Mojo that is what I was thinking also. If I take all the crap off it I can we might be able to manage it with the cart.
