Sharp MX4100 External device password???

    [Misc] Sharp MX4100 External device password???

    Hello, I have acquired a Sharp MX4100n that says in the display could not locate the accounting server, contact your administrator. Tried to enter as an administrator but the normal default passwords do not work(Admin, admin, Sharp, sharp, 00000...). Is there a service way to enter or unlock? I could not locate one...

      There is a TC that will reset the admin p/w to default. If you don't have a service manual, contact Paul.

          Sim 24-30 resets admin password to default.

          Should be in your manual...

              Hi, the machine will not let you into simulations without the admin password, it first looks for the external accounting device(AMX3) the machine does not have this attached, then you press systems and then it asks for the password, tried all the defaults??? there's got to be a way to reset...

                  If you remove the HDD you can access simulations and system settings after you get the error message if I'm not mistaken.

                      Unfortunately taking out the hdd didn't seem to work, there are two switches on the network card for flashing the firmware, that I am able to get into, would flashing the firmware reset the amx3 password? Thanks

                          Machine will not let me into the sim's asks for an admin password prior #*c* won't let me in...
