Ok sports fans here's one for you,
We picked up an account that has a MX2600, it appears that the previous company who was servicing the machine reset the total counter. So the customer was under the impression that the copier had less copies than it actually does. Who knows if that's the case but the customer seemed surprised about it.
My question is
Is there any way to program the counter, in this case its the black and white counter to reflect the correct meter read? Under sim 22 there is a reset counter feature but I don't know of any sim to correct the counter in the event that it gets reset.
Tossing this one out there, any ideas are appreciated.
Yes I have the manual, no I do not want to buy one.
*To clarify, the sharp copier has a master counter that you cannot reset, it keeps the total of both color and b/w. However you can reset either the b/w or color counters to zero and even if you do this the master counter will still remain the same and not adjust to the reset. So if your copier has 200k in the master counter and you reset the b/w counter to zero the master still reflects 200k but your report and b/w counter will show 0. We want to add the 100k back to the b/w counter as it helps with our MPS software and billing.
