Hello all, i'm new to this forum, so, i'm a sharp technician from belgium, local dealer, 15years experians. My first post here, so, like the title say's: we replaced 7mfp's on the same custumor, automotive branche. (mx2610, MX3640, two MX5112, three MXM363 BW). Now, we have a couple times a day, that al "color mfp's" freezes in the network, we have to reboot the mfp's to put them back online. The black and white one's dont have this problem. We disabled snmp on both mfp's and server ports, no result, we put a "new" fresh MX2640 on the network, in an other IP range (DHCP), not connected to a server, no config at all, only IP, it goes offline as well with the rest of the color MFP's. When i say off line, it is also not possible to connect direct with the laptop on lan card, we have to reboot them before they come visible again in the network. i put an old MX3501 on the network, it works fine, does not go offline with the rest, so the problems is only on the new COLOR mfp's. So, i hope there is someone out there who have the same problem in the past, because it is a hard one.... I also tried 55:3 en set the lan ports to 10mB and half duplex, no result. Wire sharp captures arent telling anything neither... Anyone? Thanks in advanced, Regars, Kris.

Re: New color Mfp's MX2610 > 5112
the newer firmware's have taken care of most of the lockups, stalls, and unresponsiveness.Where the heck is my spring hook? -

Re: New color Mfp's MX2610 > 5112
There is something on that network that makes the new color MFP's lock up somehow...the older ones dont have this problem..
So, for me its a mixed problem: Network/ mfp's (and only new colors...)
Thanks for thinking with me!Comment
