tray 3 lifting but not detecting paper. cleared trouble. no help. replaced size detect pwb. no help. tested tray 3 cassette in tray 4. worked.

Pull the paper feed unit and check you paper height detection sensor M1LUD, make sure the actuator is is moving and that the sensor is triggering with sim 30-2. You can also track it back to the PCU PWB and test your voltages at CN15 Pin 13and reseat the connector.
