Okay Got a 283 with 131,xxx copies... Keeps throwing a e7-14 I have reseated all connectors on SCN Cnt Board. flashed machine with current firmware. Now I have replaced the SCN board and still have same problem. Service manual only says to check or replace board and now that's done I am out of ideas... And suggestions.?

Error is a CCD error according to the manual, though it doesn't explicitly list the CCD as a problem or suggest replacing it, have you tried to do so?Cthulhu for president! Why settle for the lesser evil? -

Just got off the phone with Tech line, checked everything advised tech replace ccd , and ccd cable.. headed to the office now, think I have a parts machine at the office. Will post fix soon hopefully...Comment

Okay seems that the CCD seems to have been the problem.man I sure do love having parts machine, if anything changes or the problem comes back I'll be sure to post an update thanks for all the helpComment
