Mx2600 won't come out of sleep mode

    Mx2600 won't come out of sleep mode

    I was doing a PM on an MX2600 and the customer told me that when she comes in in the morning the machine is displaying "Please Wait" and won't come out of it. If she turns the machine off/on it comes ready and prints the faxes that woke it up. I updated the firmware to the latest Not sure where else to look. IDNC has nothing about it I could find, not finding anything doing a search here.

    If someone knows anything about this that would be great. Thanks.

    Also, once it's awake, it works normally till it has to come out of preheat mode again.
    I know I should be ashamed of myself. Strangely though, I am not.

      i found this one earlyer, http://www.copytechnet.com/forums/sh...d-machine.html, maybe its the same? (for some reason e can't hit enter with win7 64bit on this forum..)

          Thanks, I think that might be the problem. going to try a different keyboard tomorrow. That was the fix on that one. Sad thing is that one was posted by a guy I work with and I talked to him about it this morning and neither one of us made the connection.

                  I would go with keyboard.. had several do this. If they Don't use it or even know its there, just disconnect it.
