    Remote desktop printing with MXB402

Our client is using remote desktop and a program called screwdriver, neither that I am familiar with. Within the Remote desktop session, the printer does not resort back to the default tray, it stays with the last tray used. Regular desktop, printer acts as it should, and prints to default tray.

It is a hassle, because client has 4 trays and has plain, letterhead and 2 different types of checks. If client forgets to change trays, he ends up printing on checks or letterhead.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Did you set the trays up for different types of paper?

    Tray 1 plain
    Tray 2 letterhead
    etc

I've found that most programs remember the last drawer you printed to unless you close the program and start a new session (word is especially good at this) if you are not using the autoselect tray feature in the print driver. There is not a work around that I am aware of other than to make sure the paper tray settings are set properly.

    Good luck.

I will give it a try. Tray 1 is set to plain, tray 2 to letterhead, I will have to check on tray 3 and 4 because those are filled with checks, I'll set them to something miscellaneous.
