1st. Whenever this client turns off his computer he has to register his IP with the MFP or else he gets a CE-02. His computer has the same IP it had before it turned off. All the settings are correct and none of the other 5 computers in the office have any issues. Their IT person is less than helpful because this is the only branch with a Sharp machine and he doesnt like dealing with it.
2nd. This same person just called me yesterday about an issue that he cannot print no more than 2 pages or the copier resets. I dont know what that means just yet because I have not been out there to check that problem out. He says he has to print 2 pages at a time or else it resets. Once again he is the only one that is having that issue with the copier.
3rd. This one I have been trying to figure out for a few days and I am stumped. This problem just started earlier this week. None of the other branches can fax to this machine. The call comes in and it says connecting then it just disappears. I had both of my offices ( both in different area codes) fax in and it receives just fine. I tried slowing the transmission speed down to see if that would help, I also lengthened the EOL timing from 13 to 25 seconds and there are no changes. I tried contacting the It guy to see what kind of machines the other branches have and to see if he had made any changes that may cause any conflict. I was told that all the other branches have the same machines so I dont know if a new firmware was updated on the others that is what is causing my issue.
Any help would be appreciated.
