    MX3110 etc... Home screen

Apparently you can customise the home screen on this family of copiers, i.e. have the customers logo or even your own logo and contact info displayed on the home screen. Would any one know how this is done?
I cant seem to find the info anywhere. If anyone had a link to some info or could point me to a section of a manual I dont mind reading up lol...
    Thanks in advance.

It's all done from the web page. There's a button in the side menu labeled "Home Screen Customization". As long as your image is fitted correctly (can't recall exact resolution) you can put whatever custom image you'd like on the home screen.

You can get all the information from Sharp bulletin TT-20316.

Basically, the settings are in System Settings->Operation Settings->Home Screen Settings.

For a custom logo, max file size is 310KB. Screen resolution is 1024x544 pixels. So design the logo at that resolution to ensure that it doesn't get distorted. File needs to be a JPEG, GIF, or PNG.

You can also change the images for the buttons themselves. Those images need to be 10KB or less.

Plus if you create a layout you like, make a operations setting back up, so it can be imported easily. Keeps you from having to customize every single machine.

You can also change the actual icons of the buttons. I was messing around with it when the 3610 first came out. Unbeknownst to me, that machine was scheduled for a demo later that day. A few hours later, the rep rang me and asked which one of The Simpsons characters was the email button...
