    Job accounting on MX4101

Is there a way to set up the Sharp 4101 so it prompts you for a job number before sending over to the printer?
If so can I get the proceedure for how to set this up?
    Thanks!!

I'm not sure if it's been added in retroactive firmware updates, but newer machines will prompt for user credentials if in the driver settings, the un/pw or user code has been checked but left blank.

Give it a try and see if it works.

New machines i.e. 5112's have a option in the configuration tab of the printer driver called printing policy and you can tick it to prompt for the account code.

Just go into the driver preferences under control panel. Go to job handling tab. At the bottom check the box for auto job control review. Apply. Should now pop up a box after you say print and ask you for a user number.
