Printing envelopes on a MX-2610

A customer today reported problems printing on envelopes the size c4 but there isn't an option for c4 I was just wondering is it possible to print on c4 envelopes.

Another question are the only envelopes you can print ones that have the adhesive edges folded in to protect the fusing rollers?

Use the dimensions for C4 size:

C4

324 x 229 mm or

12.8 x 9.0 in

Should be able to get it to print. You always take a chance if the flaps are left unfolded that they will cause issues.

This model has presets for the following sizes:
DL
C5
COM10
Monarch.

All other sizes will have to be programmed into the bypass tray. You can also adjust the soft switch settings if wrinkling occurs.

What paper type should I use for c4 envelopes, I've tried all types and they all seem to be causing crumpling..

Any help would be great.

Are you sure she doesn't mean error C4? I have just had a 2310 throwing out C4-00 errors only when printing c5 envelopes through the bypass, tried all of sharps remedies including mew PTC, Primary Trans Unit, Firmware and even the TC PWB for the new modded version, it turned out to be the two magnetic clutches on the back of the main drive that control the Trans Unit. parts code PCLC-0373FCZ1
