    Disable Home button Sharp MX-2640N

    Hi.

    Basically it's that, how can i disable the 'Home' button in the MX-2640N?

    The one at the top left of the screen? Or the physical button? If the former, there is an option on the web manager, cannot remember the exact location but it is under System Settings, near Home Screen settings (if not in it). For the latter, you could just unsolder a connection to the button.

      How will you get into diags, if you disable the Home button?

        Hello.

        Yes, it is the physical button.

        I'm using an external software that makes me go into de diferent diags, and that's why i don't want that the user can use the home button.

          If you're referring to using VPN to access the copier, then the user's use of it will remain irrelevant, as they won't be able to see that they need to double tap the home icon, and then the version number, and then the key sequence.
