MX-M623 locked out of admin mode

My company bought an off-lease sharp MX-M623n and i am locked out of admin mode. i can't reset the password, also i cant get to the top page because the ip is static and has a different gateway and subnet then the network at my office. i tried connecting via crossover cable to my laptop and still can't get to the top page. any suggestions?

TC 24-30 will reset password to default.

It's been discussed in other threads that a HDD format may reset your admin password to the default. You should still be able to access them by forcing your computer onto the same IP subnet (192.168.1.xxx for example if copier is 192.168.1.200, as long as you don't make your pc .200 you should be able to access. Gateway and subnet are more or less irrelevant for the purposes of accessing the web page).
