We have an Imagistics im3512 (Sharp equivalent MX-M350N) that when trying to go into "Administrator" it kept indicating that "Administrator is Disabled". Unfortunately, we had a technician run the "secret simulation" #89-2 - Key Operator Code/Data Clear Include Fax and it now codes immediately upon boot E7-60 Controller Skating Trouble! What is going on, could someone please point us in the right direction? I don't have to replace the ROM do I? Would just a firmware update fix it?

When your other tech did the data clear, it seemed to have wiped the serial number data from the mfp board. Tell him he's an idiot and he should use sim 24-30 next time. There's a reason Sharp has now locked us out of elevated sims on the new machines, and it's idiots like him.Cthulhu for president! Why settle for the lesser evil?Comment
