    Network send file name settings.

I have a Sharp MX-M753N that I am setting up to send a scanned document to a FTP server. I need the scanner to add a prefix number on the documents file name. I have the rest of the setup complete just not this file name part. Any advice or documentation on where I can figure it out would rock.

The only option I see in there is under Application settings -> network scanner settings -> administration settings. I do see file name settings under network scanner settings but it looks like it just changes the entire name. I need it to just set a prefix with a variable, say today's date and time.

You're in the right area, just make sure the Date and Time has a check mark for File Naming. Also, "To avoid duplication of file names, select Date&Time or Unique Identifier."
