Checksum error. Normally you can just reset with sim 16 and it won't return:

U2 11 Content Counter check sum error (ICU)
Detail Counter data area check sum error
Cause EEPROM troubleControl circuit trouble by noiseICU PWB EEPROM access circuittrouble
    Check andremedy
Check that EEPROM is properlyinserted.Save the counter/adjustment valueswith the DIAG simulation.Use DIAG (SIM16) to cancel U2trouble.
    Replace the ICU PWB.

    Good luck.

Thank you for replying. Where is the EEPROM located and how do you get into service mode (ex.. CRPC - ?)?

EEPROM is located on one of the boards, and if you aren't aware how to get into service mode I would suggest you purchase a manual from our friendly manual salesman or contact your local Sharp representative.

If you replaced a board and started getting this code, you may have forgotten to switch the EEPROM with the original boards EEPROM. The EEPROM is an 8 pin chip.
