I have an ARM455 that gives a CE-03 when you do a scan to email. I checked the smtp settings and they are good. It passes a connection test on the web interface. We put the same info into a machine at the shop and it worked fine. The manual says that a CE-03 is specified server suspends response during transmission of image. I am pretty sure it is a network issue I just need to be able to tell there IT people what the problem is because they want to just blame the copier. Does anyone know what would cause the CE-03 code.

Have you try with gmail (tt1478), also make sure that the dns are ok, could be related to the firewall, i remember a customer where we had to use a relay station because the email wouldn't pass at all (even if a small HP would do just fine!?!).Good luck!! -

At setup I put the timeout for DNS and SMTP settings at max (60 sec)."You can't trust your eyes, if your mind is out of focus" --
