Hi guys, got one I haven't seen before, wondering if anyone's 2 cents can make my dollar whole.
My paper stoppers in the doc feed are doing their job too well. In that they're not allowing paper to pass them at all unless I manually move them out of the way, but then I have issues with multiple feeds of course. It does a large stack of papers totally fine, but anything around 20 sheets or less and it will not move the stoppers causing DFD_ND jam codes.
My thought is maybe the clutch is wearing out (disassembled and cleaned up what little there is to clean up, magnetic not spring clutch) and is not lifting the mechanism fast enough for smaller quantities of paper. I see no bulletins on my respective Sharp websites relating to this issue. My issue could be a firmware issue for all I know, but it's a one-of problem.
Anyone able to chime in?
