Does anyone know what the code is to get into the customer reset mode on Sharp copiers? I know there is an unlisted code, similar to p*c* that you can give to end users to be able to reset codes on the machine. I cannot remember what it is though. Can anyone help?

What model, it depends; and, do you mean trouble codes?"You can't trust your eyes, if your mind is out of focus" -- -

MX-M264N. I've had a trainer that showed it being done before. From what I remember, it's for resetting trouble codes, but doesnt allow the user to get into any of the actual service settings.Comment

Re: Sharp Customer Reset Code
There is no such code. The same code gets you into simulations were you can clear trouble codes. It is in the manual in the simulation section.Comment

Re: Sharp Customer Reset Code
Never heard of it. I would think it would defeat the purpose of throwing codes. The client would not know what the codes meant and the ones that you cannot reset by cycling the power on the machine are meant for technicians to troubleshoot to prevent further possible damage.Comment
