When my users use their AR-M450N+ copier scanner to send scans via the Sharpdesk EMAIL network scanner tool, it works fine for one scan. Outlook 2007 opens a new message windows with the PDF attachment and the subject filled out. If they try to send more than one, Outlook 2007 shows the first scan in the new window, then gives an error message that "A dialog box is open. Close it and try again." So at this point, they can only do one scan at a time. This wasn't a problem with Outlook Express. Has anyone dealt with this before? They are running Sharpdesk version 3.1.

I haven't had that issue yet with Sharpdesk! If you try to scan the attachment as a tiff does it do the same thing? Here are some suggestions from Sharpnet that might get you in the ball park.

It doesn't matter if it is a tiff or a pdf. I can send multiple scans to a folder or to the Sharpdesk Desktop. I can only send one at a time to outlook or I will get the Open Dialog box error. Exceptions have been added to the firewall, the firewall has been turned off, with no joy. Java is up to date, pretty much everything is in order as this is a brand new computer with all updates done, save XP SP3. Permissions are good as the user is the local administrator of his machine. I am pretty sure that this is an incorrect function call or something in the programming of Sharpdesk when it opens Outlook and creates a new e-mail message window. Something in the code is incompatible with Outlook 2007.Comment
