    Disabling of Image Rotation MX-M453N

Hello, I'm sorry if this has been asked but I did search the forum and even exhausted Google. I have an MX-M453N that is driving me nuts with Image Rotation. We are trying to run bulletins going from Legal to Ledger size with the proper ratio of 121%. We select Pamplet under special modes and use the left binding setting. The issue is that Image Rotation kicks in and rotates the image on the Ledger size paper. The original document is already set up in book reading format so there's no point in the image being rotated. Is there a way for me to disable image rotation during this function so that the bulletins are proper?

    Thank you for your help

    Cheers

Do you use auto ratio selection ? If so, try to manually select it.

Or you can always disable auto rotation in system setting -- copy setting -- other setting........

I do this at setup before the machine leaves the shop to prevent that same service call.

If this is a print job, the file cannot be set as a booklet layout, for example, in Microsoft Word. The machine sees the file in booklet format, then the driver adds pamphlet and everything goes to shit. It has to rotate the image to FIT the tiles on the page.

I create booklets for printing as 8.5x11 individual pages. Then select 2 sided book, 2 up, multi sheet fold and staple. This is off the top of my head, but it is damn close. In your case,I would add Fit to Page: Ledger.

Pamphlet mode will double the size on all Sharps. If the file is 8.5x11 and you select Pamphlet, it will auto select Ledger. You can try Fit to Page, but the margins become too large and most customer don't like it.

Thank you all for your replies but it is still doing the same thing no matter what. This is very strange that it will not stop it's rotation of the image. Any other ideas?

Generally, an image processing control integrates the capability of image rotation. It supports full imaging rotation angle range from 1 degree to 360 degrees. If you want to disable this function, you may reset the properties.
