Mx2610 adf jams double side

I have a mx2610 with a jam code of SPPD3_N. I had a look at the handy guide and found the sensor.
Sensor is fine.
It only stops once it's scanned the last image as it's feeding it back out.
Simplex works perfect. This is happens quite often after about 5 sheets. Never seen these adf cause problem for this machine.
anyone else seen this before?

Add an extra wrap of tension to the exit spring that brings the exit sensor flag back into place. Had a similar situation on an MX4111N.
